About the Role
As a member of the Tennessee Sound & Broadcast Event Crew, you will be trained on nearly every area of our operations. When events are booked, you will be the face of TSB–teaming up with other Event Crew members to transport the equipment to the venue, load in, setup, run tests, operate the system, and then return it all to the shop.
One of the most important aspects of this role is professionalism and ability to communicate well with our clients. The audio, lighting, networking, and visuals systems that we operate are extremely complex. It is important to be able to comfortably discuss the systems with the client; reassuring them that we have it all under control.
As with all currently available roles at TSB, this position is formatted for independent contractors meaning you should expect a form 1099 for tax reporting. If you have never worked as a contractor before, we are more than happy to walk you through the process during onboarding.
Est. time commitment: 10-20 hours per month
Compensation: Event based- $15 hourly minimum, training/shop hours- $12 hourly minimum
Must be 16 years or older with two years of driving experience
Must have and be comfortable using a smartphone and various apps
Ability to lift 70-80 lbs without assistance
Proficiency in English
1-2 years of experience in production or performance preferred

Contracting with TSB is an excellent way to build your Nashville career in the live entertainment industry. We provide paid training and onboarding, ensuring that you are 100% confident in your role prior to accepting any responsibilities. We have serviced events with attendance ranging from 35 to 350 guests.
